• Future Plans

The International School of Kabul is not meant to be the “future” school, or a “band-aid” for education in Kabul. We are dedicated to helping the educational system in this country by providing a high quality education for our students. In addition, we enjoy being a model for local and provincial educators and teacher trainers to learn “best practices” to help equip the future leaders of Afghanistan.

Because of our commitment, we are working on plans for a purpose-built campus, located in a secure area of the city and on land granted to us by the Ministry of Agriculture. This campus will allow us to serve over 500 students, and would feature state-of-the-art classrooms and technology facilities, as well as full-sized athletic facilities, a cafeteria, staff housing, and an assembly hall.

Additionally, a large segment of the professional business, political, and NGO communities require an international quality college preparatory education for their families. By providing them this opportunity, ISK supports the rebuilding and capacity building in Afghanistan by providing a stable, high quality education.
